From Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), you can take the early train, and it’ll get you to Phan Thiet in 4 hours, then you can either take the bus or taxi to get to Mui Ne, which will take another 30 mins. We recommend pre-arranging your transportations. Another option is to book a bus from the backpacker’s street at Pham Ngu Lao in District 1 to get directly to Mui Ne. The train will give you more comfort and avoid the busy highways and the bumpy ride, but the buses offer more flexibility regarding the schedule frequency.
