As the Vietnamese are more concerned about their health, both physical and mental well-being, yoga has become a popular sport in recent years. It is not only about diet or exercise but also a way of life for many people, and thus many yoga studios have been established across metropolitans.

In this guide, you will see a list of best yoga studios in Ho Chi Minh City, their location and what service they provide. The modern equipped studios are mostly located in central districts like District 1 and District 3, while small and boutique studios are usually in quieter residential areas in District 2 and District 7.

Sivananda Yoga Center

Established in 2011, Saigon Sivananda Yoga Center is a part of the International Sivananda Yoga Centers. Swami Sitaramananda, the founder of this center, and volunteer staff here aim to teach the “proper” and “positive” ways of well-being through exercise, breathing, relaxation, diet, thinking, and meditation.

There are daily meditation, yoga classes for all levels, and some regular classes for the elderly and cancer patients. Most classes last about 90 minutes. Besides, the center often holds workshops and courses and offers residency for up to 3 months.

They offer many yoga classes for people at different levels and for different purposes. There are classes to get fit, improve physical health, relieve stress, increase flexibility and strength.

Note: there is no information on the language used in the classes, so it would be best to ask the staff before you make any registration.

Jiva Studio

Yoga Joy was first opened in late 2015, one of the rare boutique yoga studios in Ho Chi Minh City. They aspire to provide support for women during their pregnancy and parenthood.

Located in Phu My Hung Residential Area, this studio is quite far from the city center but can offer you a quiet space for yoga and meditation. They are, as a family yoga studio, offering many classes for women of all ages and in different stages of their life.
