Grab/Go-Viet: Download these ride-hailing apps from App Store, Google Play. Many drivers don’t speak English, but the instructions on the app are super clear and straightforward. The only thing you need is mobile data.
Motorbike For Rent: You can rent a motorbike for VND 120,000 – 300,000/day. There are parking lots on both ends of the street, Fahasa Nguyen Hue, Ho Tung Mau and Ton That Thiep Street.
On Foot: Nguyen Van Binh Book Street is within walking distance from Ben Thanh Market, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Mariamman Hindu Temple, Independence Palace…

There are around 20 stalls from well-known publishers with different genres: comic, fiction, non-fiction … in both English and Vietnamese. If you have time and some patience, you can buy a good, old book at outdoor stalls for next to nothing. They also sell lovely souvenirs like coasters, tote bags, and petite decorations… The staffs are friendly, so don’t hesitate to ask for help.
There’s a book bus which would be perfect for your next viral pictures. If you visit here during the daytime, you can borrow a book too.

After sightseeing, take a rest at Phuong Nam Book Café, Dep Café or McDonald’s. The price will vary from VND 20,000 – 100,000. In return, you get a nice and peaceful view. All the cafés are beautifully adorned so don’t forget to snap some photos. There’s also a playground so your kids won’t get bored.
